Can I go on an internship?
- No, I'm afraid we do not provide for this.
Where does technical college instruction take place?
- Teaching is done at technical colleges near to where apprenticeship training takes place.
What else does MHPSE provide under apprenticeship training?
- e.g. vacation pay, Christmas bonus, lunch allowance, capital-forming payments, personal days
Does the company take on those who have completed their apprenticeship training?
- As a rule, our trainees very quickly become valued employees whom wewould like to keep in the company. Thus taking on all employees is the rule with
us.
Students:
In which fields can I go on an internship?
- There is nothing to stop you undertaking a 3-month internship in line with the degree program in any department.
What is the minimum internship period?
- We provide 3-month mandatory internships based on the degree program.
Do you provide themes for theses and dissertations?
- Yes, we do. On the one hand, we oversee - given we have the required qualified contacts - the theme you have chosen. On the other, many domains provide one with the opportunity of taking up themes from the company's everyday work.

What is the situation regarding company pension provision arrangements?
- At the end of the probationary period, newly-appointed staff can participate in the company pension provision arrangements.
What working time procedure is involved at MHPSE?
- We have a trust-based working time in keeping with the "Metall NRW" Framework Agreement on Pay (ERA)
Which pay forms are in place?
- Union labor agreements apply to our company. Pay and other general conditions are undertaken on the basis of the "Metall NRW" ERA.
