The ideal partner for plant optimisation
A large number of components - from the pulverizer and burners to deashers - are in use around the utility steam generator. Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe firing systems and components cover a practically unlimited range of gaseous, liquid and solid fuels. The corresponding equipment is optimized for both coal and lignite pulverized firing systems.
As a designer and manufacturer of original parts, the company is also an ideal partner for plant optimization. This includes steps to reduce emissions and raise both flexibility (fuel deployment, percentage load operations) and boiler efficiency. On request, MHPS Europe also provides the required project management, quality control and lead engineering in plant optimization matters.
Depending on selection criteria (e.g. fuel property, emission standards, ash recycling), MHPSE provides the optimum firing systems for pulverized coal and lignite. To this end, the new generation of pulverized fuel burners are distinguished by minimum emissions and maximum flexibility as far as the fuels used are concerned. In addition the firing systems can be accurately designed for plants recycling residual substances, special firing and environmental fuel utilization. In this way industrial power plants generating steam/power and thermal disposal units can be economically optimized.
The coal mill feeders, conveying equipment (drag chain and belt conveyors) and steel plate conveyor feeders developed by Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe are also designed for top, fail-safe performances. Pulverizers (for grinding and drying coal and lignite) have been part of the scope of production and services of MHPS Europe for many years now. Our trade references in burners for gas/oil fired plants or alternative fuels (e.g. blast furnace gases and refinery residues) are based on a lengthy track record at the commercial scale.
